Brazil Vasquo S 820830 np
Mass Today for Vasquo Brazil, 82:  A Mass will be said today, Monday, at 10 am, at Sacred Heart Church for Vasquo
Souza Brazil. He died Friday at Emmanuel Hospital in Turlock after a long illness.  He was 82. A native of the Azore
Islands, he had lived here since 1946 when he moved from the Crows Landing area.  He was a member of Sacred Heart
Church as well as the Knights of Columbus and IDES Lodge in Patterson. A rosary was recited Sunday evening at Evans
Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in Patterson District Cemetery. Survivors include his wife. Angela Brazil of Patterson;
three sons, George of Daly City, Vasquo Jr. of Turlock, and Fernando Brazil of Ceres; three sisters, Maria Silveria of
Tulare, Emilia Avila of Lemoore, and Rosa Brazil of the Azore Islands; and one brother, Jose Brazil, also of the Azores.
He also is survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
