Brennan, Charles 060628 p10 Charles Brennan Feb. 24, 1935 � June 3, 2006 Charles Brennan, 71, of Henderson, Nev., died June 3 at a hospice in Henderson. Mr. Brennan was a native of Mobile, Ala., and a U.S. Army veteran who served as a military policeman in Korea. He had a limousine service in Gardena until he retired and moved to the Las Vegas area in 2004. He enjoyed volunteering at Opportunity Village, a nonprofit group dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and their families. Mr. Brennan enjoyed playing Santa Claus at Opportunity Village's Magical Forest fundraiser each Christmas season. He also enjoyed fishing and boating at his lakeside cottage in Minnesota and had looked forward to this summer at the lake. Mr. Brennan was well known for riding his oneof- a-kind motorcycle. He took his mother with him in a caboose specially made for her when they traveled from Redondo Beach to Patterson to visit relatives. Mr. Brennan is survived by his wife, Margaret Brennan of Henderson; sister, Dorothy Luiz, and her husband, Walter, of Patterson; and many nieces and nephews in the Patterson area.
