Eva Mae Breves, 83;  A life long Patterson area resident, Eva Mae Breves, died last Wednesday at the San Luis
Convalescent Hospital in Newman.  She was 83.  Born in Modesto and a homemaker all of her adult life, she was the first
queen some 65 years ago of Patterson's St. Anthony's celebration.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church
and of UPPEC in Newman.  A vigil and visitation were held Monday evening at Hillview Funeral Chapel, where a
service will be held today, Tuesday, at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Hills Ferry Cemetery at Newman.  Survivors include her
husband, Anthony J. Breves of Patterson; two sons, Edward J. and Anthony "Tony" Breves Jr., both of Patterson; two
daughters, Dorothy Breves of Patterson and Shirleen Cloud of Turlock; two grandchildren; two brothers, Art Silva of
Martinez and Tony Silva of Gustine; and a sister, Mary Vieira of Turlock.   Remembrances should be sent to a Hospice of
the donor's choice.
