Cheryl Lee Brooks, 46;  Cheryl Lee Brooks, a 33 year resident of Patterson. died last Saturday at Del Puerto Hospital
following a long illness.   She was 46.  She was a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and was a medical transcriber.  She had
worked at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for nine years.  A service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the
Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs in Modesto.  Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 p.m., at the chapel.  Survivors
include her husband, Donald Brooks of Patterson; two stepchildren, Deloris Alonzo of Salida and Neva D. Brooks of
Modesto; four brothers, Dale, Kenneth and Victor Brown, all of Modesto, and Happy Brown of Boot Jack; a sister, Gale
Northcutt of Stockton; her mother, Dolores Brown of Modesto; and her grandmother, Zelphia lnman of Modesto.
