Final Rites Today for E. L Brooks; Final rites for Earnest Lloyd Brooks, 74, who died Tuesday morning in his home at
16306 Ward Ave., will be conduced at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, in Evans Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the
Patterson District Cemetery. A native of Kansas, he bad lived n Patterson five and one half years.  He was a retired
realtor and formerly lived in Southern California. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kathleen Brooks; a son, Wayne
Brooks; and daughter, Mrs. Emmylou Schroeder, all of Patterson; a brother, Jay Brooks of Santa Ana, eight
grandchildren.
