Woman Thrown, Killed; A Bay Area woman was killed on I-5 Sunday afternoon when she was thrown from her pickup
truck south of the Patterson exit.  Beverly Broom, 38, of Hayward suffered fatal injuries when the truck strayed from the
roadway, went up a hillside and flipped.  The accident occurred around 2 p.m.
