Brothers George A H 970417 p10 George-Ann Brothers, 91; A memorial service was held Wednesday at Los Gatos Memorial Park for George- Anne Hafley Brothers. She died Monday at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. She was 91. A native of Brentwood, she had lived here the past eight years. She was a retired school teacher who taught in Manteca for 40 years, then in Los Gatos for a number of years before she retired. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pentalpha Chapter #399 in Manteca, having been a member of that organization for over 50 years. Survivors include three step-daughters, Betty Houchin of Patterson, Doris Kuster of Valley Springs, and Ruth- Ann Reisener of Walnut Creek; and nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Jay Fred Brothers, preceded her in death in 1994. She also was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert F. Brothers. Brothers George-Ann H 970422 p3 George-Ann Hafley Brothers, 91; A memorial service for George-Anne Hafley Brothers of Patterson will be held this Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park in Los Gatos. The eight-year Patterson resident died April 14 at Memorial Medical Center. She was 91. A full obituary was included in last Thursday's Patterson Irrigator but included a wrong date for the service.
