Naomi �Pugan� Brough
June 18, 1936 � April 15, 2007
Services will be Friday for Naomi Ruth Brough of Turlock, who died Sunday at 
Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
Mrs. Brough, 70, was a native of Bunch, Okla., and had lived in Turlock the past 
two years. Mrs. Brough previously had lived in Patterson for many years and also 
in Modesto.
She was a homemaker for 50 years and a member of Family Christian Center in 
Patterson. She enjoyed cooking, baking and collecting dolls, Christmas 
decorations and crystal.
Mrs. Brough is survived by her husband, Sidney �Sid� Brough of Turlock; a son, 
Herman Elliott of Salida; daughters, Mary Ashlock of Turlock and Tracy Sweet of 
Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers, George Carson of Blythe and Gene Carson of 
Patterson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Husie Carson; a son, Steven 
Ray Elliot; sisters, Lilly Mae Copeman and Dorothy Renfrow; and two 
granddaughters, Donna Ashlock and Tracy Ashlock.
Friday�s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. 
Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson. Burial will follow in Patterson District 
Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33, in Patterson.
Visitation will be observed from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
Friday at the chapel.
