Final Rites Monday for Mrs. C. Brown; Funeral services were conducted Monday at Evans Funeral Chapel for Mrs.
Charlene Geneva Brown, 33, who died Friday in a local hospital following a long illness.  Interment was in the Patterson
District Cemetery.  Mrs. Brown was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Patterson 11 years. She is survived by her
widower, Arlie Brown, two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Jepson and Carol Brown; two sons, Gerald and Allan Brown, all of
Patterson; one sister, Ruthie Ivey of Vallejo; three brothers, U. L. Hicks of Modesto, William Hicks of Arkansas; and
Johnnie Hicks of Missouri; and one grandchild.
