Former Resident Died on Saturday; Crows Landing, July 3. � V.  G. Bryant, a former resident here, died suddenly at
Paradise Park, near Santa Cruz, early Saturday evening.  Apparently in good health, he had eaten a hearty dinner of
barbecued steak, assisted with the dishes and retired soon afterwards.  He was ill but a few moments, the end coming at
9:15. Bryant had resided in Los Banos during the several years since he moved from here and had been City Clerk for
some time. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Los Banos, followed by cremation at Fresno.
