Peter W. Buchanan   Jan. 31, 1952 -- Feb. 3, 2004
A graveside service and celebration of life was held Saturday for Peter Wesley Buchanan, 52, of Patterson. who died Feb.
3 at his home.  Mr. Buchanan was a native of Stockton and had lived in Patterson since 1957.  He was a real estate broker
for 30 years and owned Buchanan Real Estate. He was a 1970 graduate of Patterson High School. where he was class
president, and he also graduated from Modesto Junior College and California State University. Fresno.  He served on the
Patterson Planning Commission for six years and was a Patterson Auction Booster for 20 years.  He was active in Cub
Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H and Future Farmers of America.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He is survived by his wife,
Bette Lou Buchanan of Modesto; daughter, Carol Annette Buchanan of Modesto; and sister, Sandra Annette Buchanan of
Seattle.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Molly Sue Buchanan; and parents, Frank and Muriel Buchanan.
Burial was at Patterson District Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 601 McHenry
