Passing of Mrs. Carl Busengdal Last Saturday; Death made an untimely call Saturday evening when Mrs. Rachel
Busengdal passed away at the family home following a long illness.  She was stricken in the prime of life and the
sympathy of the community for the bereaved family was expressed by suspension of business  during the funeral services
Monday afternoon. Mrs. Busengdal was a native of Norway, aged 42 years, but came, to this country at the age of four
and has resided in California ever since, coming to Patterson to live in 1917. Beside her husband, Carl, and two
daughters, Marie and Aileen, two sisters and three brothers survive her; Mrs. Annie Swenson of Richmood; Mrs. Inga
Langlo of Santa Barbara; John and Jens Stangland of San Rafael and Sven Stangland of Oakland. Funeral services were
held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with Rev. E. W. Lee officiating, followed by interment in Del Puerto Cemetery.
