Former Patterson Resident Dies in San Francisco; Mrs. Alice E. Button, former Patterson resident, died Saturday in San
Francisco.  Funeral services were held in Oakland Tuesday. Mrs. Button resided in Newman for many years prior to
coming to Patterson.  She met and married W. T. Button who was employed at the Yancey Lumber Co. there.  Later they
moved to Patterson where Button opened a branch for the Yancey Co. and operated as manager for some time. They left
Patterson over 30 years ago for San Jose where they lived until Button's death in 1939.  Mrs. Button had no children.
