Final Rites Today for Howard Butts; Funeral services will be conducted today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. in Evans Funeral
Chapel for Howard G. Butts, 80, who died Sunday in a Modesto Hospital.  Interment will be in the Patterson District
Cemetery. Butts was a native of Illinois, he had lived in this area for 39 years. He is survived by his widow, Mabel Butts
of Grayson; two sons, Robert of Grayson and Cecil of San Leandro; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Stevensen of  San
Leandro and Mrs. Lucille Stratton of Castro Valley; a brother, Claude of Illinois; and five grandchildren.
