Final Rites For Gus Henry Byrd; Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. yesterday at Evans Chapel for Gus Henry Byrd,
53, who passed away Monday morning in a Modesto Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Interment was at Del Puerto
Cemetery. He was a native of Arkansas and had lived in this area since 1950. Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Mildred
Titsworth and Mrs. Mary L. Seavey of Hornitos, Mrs. Opal Webb and Mrs. Oma Colwell of Patterson, Mrs. Carrie Davis
of Texas and Mrs. Fannie Atteberry at Arkansas; and two brothers, Sam C. Byrd and Robert A. Byrd of Arkansas.
