Funeral Slated Wednesday for Louis Daily, 79; A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Evans Funeral
Chapel for Louis W. Daily who died Sunday at Del Puerto Hospital after a short illness. He was 79.
He was a native of Nebraska and had moved to Patterson in 1913. In 1943 he moved to Crows Landing. Before  retiring
he was a foreman for Franceschini Ranches on the West Side. The Rev. Gary Grundman will officiate the service. Burial
will follow in Patterson District Cemetery.  Survivors include his wife, Ada Daily of Crows Landing; four daughters,
Janice Goggins of Modesto, Joyce Mendosa of Turlock, and Joan Couch and Jean Sublett, both of Reno, Nevada; two
sisters, Stella Anderson of Patterson and May McGill of Modesto; nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and
nephews.
