Delano Youth Dies While Visiting Here; Donald Daniels, 16, of Delano, died suddenly last Thursday of a spontaneous
cerebral hemorrhage due to leukemia of the bone marrow while visiting his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C. Daniels of
Barros Ave. Daniels had gone to Santa Cruz last week Wednesday with other youths, and had felt fine there.  At dinner
that night, his speech was thick, but Daniels went out after dinner only to return about midnight hardly able to speak at all
by then.  Daniels was taken to Del Puerto Hospital at 1:40 a. m. and passed away at 4:28 a. m., a few minutes before his
family arrived. Services were held in Delano.
