James Darr Buried Here; Services were held Saturday at Evans Funeral Chapel for James Samuel Darr, 84, father of Mrs.
Don Crooker of Modesto, formerly of Patterson.  Rev. Roy E.  Huckaby of the First Southern Baptist Church officiated.
Internment was in Patterson District Cemetery. A native of Ferris, Texas, Darr retired to Tur1ock 13 years ago, coming
there from Arizona. He is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Elaine Dill of Turlock and Mrs. Sammie Gaywood,
Arizona; a son, James Samuel Darr, Jr., of Boron; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Vineyard, Sacramento; 11 grandchildren and
11great grandchildren.
