Patterson Irrigator, 02/02/2008, p 11 Anthony Joseph Days 03/19/1939 � 01/30/2008 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday for Anthony Joseph �Tony� Days of Patterson, who died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Days, 68, was a native of King City and lived in Patterson for 67 years. He worked 42 years as a facility maintenance engineer for Patterson Frozen Foods and retired in 2001. He graduated from Patterson High School and was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson. Mr. Days served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Patterson Volunteer Fire Department for 15� years, serving five of those years as a lieutenant. He was also a past Cubmaster for the local Cub Scouts. He was a NASCAR fan, avid hunter of deer and birds, liked to shoot sporting clays and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He liked camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Days is survived by his wife, Norma Days of Patterson; son, Aaron Days, and his wife, Lisa, of Patterson; daughter, Terri Leon, and her husband, Sergio, of Turlock; mother, Mary Days of Patterson; brother, Bobby Days of Patterson; and five grandchildren. Tuesday�s Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St., in Patterson. Burial will follow in Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33, in Patterson. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson, followed immediately by the recitation of a rosary. Visitation will be observed from 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
