Linda J. Days, 46;  Lifelong Patterson resident Linda Jean Days died Friday at home following a long illness.  She was
46.  She was a customer service representative for Evans Telephone Company for 19 years, and was a member of  Sacred
Heart Catholic Church.  A rosary was recited Sunday evening at Sacred Heart, where a Mass was celebrated Monday
morning.  Burial was in Patterson District Cemetery.  Hillview Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Days Sr., of Patterson; a son. R. J. Days. and a daughter, Tracy Days, both of
Patterson; three sisters, Pat Halseth and Cathy Germolus, both of Patterson, and Barbara Richmond of San Diego; her
parents, Lester and Joidell Sternberg of Patterson; and a grandmother, Ada Kilby of Patterson.  A scholarship for
Patterson High School has been established in her memory.  Contributions should be sent to the Linda Steinberg Days
Girls Athletic Scholarship, Patterson High School Trust Fund, 200 N. Seventh St., Patterson. Remembrances may also be
sent to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 423, Patterson.
