Friday Funeral to be Held for M. R. Days; A rosary will be recited this evening at 6 o clock in the Evans Funeral Chapel
for Manuel Rodrick Days, 62, who died Tuesday in a Modesto hospital after a lengthy illness.  A requiem mass will be
celebrated at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, in Sacred Heart Church, and interment will be in Patterson District Cemetery.
A native of Massachusetts, Days had lived in this area of Stanislaus County for 30 years. He leaves his wife, Mary Days
of Highway 33 in Patterson; two sons, Robert and Tony Days, both of Patterson; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs.
Anthony Days, two brothers, Anthony and Ernest Days and a sister, Mrs. Evangeline Self, all of Santa Barbara. The
family has asked that memorials in Mr. Days  name be made to the University of Colorado and left with Evans Funeral
Chapel.
