Long Time Resident Succumbs; Josephine Mary Dearing, 80, a resident of Patterson since 1918 died last Monday at a
local hospital. She had been in poor health for some time. She is survived by her husband Harry and three sons, Robert of
Patterson, George of Los Angeles and Warren of Canoga Park. She also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Hupp of
Turlock ; Mrs. Bemice Browning of Reno and Mrs. Virginia Medalen of Stockton. The deceased had 11 grandchildren,
and three great grandchildren.  Services were held at the Norton Chapel in Turlock.
