Services Held for Marion E. Decker; A private service was held in Modesto for Marion Estelle Decker of Patterson who
died Tuesday in a Modesto Hospital Burial was also private. Decker, a 51 year old native of San Francisco, lived in
Patterson since 1978 and had been employed as a nurse at St. Joseph s Hospital in Stockton and Del Puerto Hospital here.
She was a member of the Federated Church and World War I Veterans Auxiliary of Modesto. She leaves her husband
Leon Decker of Patterson; four sons, Mark Jones of Escondido, Michael Jones of Washington and Alfred and Larry
Jones, both of Patterson; three daughters, Janeen Banta of Virginia, Helene Decker of New York and Aleen Jones of
Escondido; and her mother and stepfather Helen and Bill Stephens of Patterson.
