Arnulfo Z. DeLeon Sr.   July 10, 1951 � Nov. 17, 2005
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson for Arnulfo Z. DeLeon
Sr. of Turlock.  Mr. Deleon, 54, died Thursday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.  Mr. DeLeon was a native of Hale
Center, Texas, and had lived in Turlock and Patterson 40 years.  He was a farm laborer for 30 years.  He enjoyed
gardening, dancing and fishing.  He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.  Mr. Deleon is
survived by his companion, Connie Carrillo, of Turlock; son, Joseph Maldonado of Modesto; daughters, Maria Zulema
Tovar, Amy Rodriguez and Jessica DeLeon, all of Patterson; brothers, Joe Cantu of Turlock, Benny Cantu of Patterson,
Javier Cantu of San Francisco and Alejandro Cantu and Jacinto Cantu, both of Turlock; sisters, Angelita Rivas and Sylvia
Cantu, both of Turlock; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Arnulfo C.
Deleon. Today's Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St., Patterson.  Whitehurst Norton &
Dias Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, is handling arrangements.  Burial will be private.
