Samuel DeLeon, 31;  A Mass will be said today, Thursday, for Patterson resident Samuel DeLeon, who died suddenly
last Saturday at his home.  He was 31.  The Mass is slated for 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he was a
member.  Burial will be in Patterson District Cemetery.  He had been a parts manager for a Kragen's auto parts store in
Oregon.  He was born in Raymondville, Texas, but had resided here most of his life.  Survivors include his children,
Samuel DeLeon Jr., Priscilla and Jessica DeLeon, all of Salem, Oregon; five brothers, Leonard, Jesse and Carlos, all of
Patterson, Albert of Turlock, and Martin DeLeon of Hayward; two sisters, Blanca Ruchert of Albany, Oregon, and Stella
Strode of Longview, Wash.; and his mother, Adelita DeLeon of Patterson.  Westside Bank in Patterson is accepting
memorial contributions.  Whitehurst Norton Chapel of Turlock is in charge of the arrangements.
