Delphia Elwyn F 700730 np Elwyn Delphia Buried Here Wednesday; Services were held yesterday, Wednesday, at Evans Funeral Chapel for Elwyn Floyd Delphia, 56, who died Sunday as the result of a tractor accident while fighting fire in Fall Canyon. Rev. Harold Blakley conducted the rites, and burial was in Patterson District Cemetery. Born in Vernalis, Delphia lived in this area all his life. He was equipment superintendent for the John Delphia Construction Co. when he died, having worked for the firm for almost 10 years. He was a member of the Patterson Masonic Lodge, of the 20-30 Club during its existence here, and a past member of the Patterson Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Delphia of North Fourth Street; one son, Clark Delphia of Orofino, Ida.; two daughters, Mrs., Joan Wah of Walnut Creek and Mrs. Marlene Podesto of Modesto, and six grandchildren. Other survivors are two brothers, John Delphia of Patterson and George Delphia of Portland, Ore and three sisters, Mrs Ellen Magnuson of Stockton, Mrs Doris Ott and Mrs, Norma Chesnut of Bakersfield.
