Services Held in Gustine for Richard Dias; A mass of Christian Burial was said on May 27 for Richard "Rick" Allen
Dias, 31, of Ceres, who died May 24 in an industrial accident. The rosary was recited May 26 at Evans-Krieger Funeral
Chapel in Gustine. Funeral services were held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Gustine, followed by interment at Hills
Ferry Cemetery. A native of Merced, he was employed as a welding shop foreman at West-Mark for the past 11 years. He
is survived by his wife Linda Marie Dias, a daughter Richelle and a son Bradley Dias of Ceres. He is also survived by his
parents Mr. and Mrs. Manuel M. Dias of Merced, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Pacheco of Gustine, and
grandmother Mrs. Mary Valladao of Atwater. He was a member of the Modesto Area Street Rod Association and
I.D.E.S. Council No. 110.
