Billy Dick, 50, Dies in San Jose; A former resident of Patterson, Billy C. Dick, has died in San Jose following a long
illness. He was 50. A native of Eufaula, Okla., he lived here from 1968 to 1984 when he moved to Modesto. He then
moved to San Jose in 1985, and there was a sign installer for Billboard Sign Co. Visitation was late Sunday at Hillview
Funeral Chapel in Patterson, which was in charge of the funeral arrangements. A graveside service was held Monday
morning at Turlock Memorial Park. He was a life member of the Musicians' Union and organized the Dick Family Band.
He was a member of the San Jose Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Dick of San Jose; two
sons, Billy Dick Jr. and Jim Dick, both of Modesto; a daughter, Crystal Macado of Hilmar; his father, Conner Dick of
Eufaula, Okla.; his mother, Myrtle Morgan of Selma; two brothers, Wallace Dick of Patterson and Joe Dick of Fresno; a
sister, Sylvia Moddleton of Selma; and two grandchildren.
