Adelaide C. Diniz

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday for homemaker Adelaide C. Diniz 
of Patterson, who died Sunday at her home.
Mrs. Diniz, 82, was a native of Lemoore and lived in Patterson 40 years. She was 
a homemaker for 50 years.
Mrs. Diniz was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Patterson and a 
member of Our Lady of Miracles Society of Gustine and Our Lady of Fatima Society 
of Turlock. She enjoyed baseball and basketball.
Mrs. Diniz is survived by her son, Joe Vaz Diniz Jr. of Patterson; daughter, 
Rosalie Teixeira of Patterson; five sisters, Lena Machado of Corona, Florinda 
Galhano of Atwater, Rosa Diniz of Turlock, Angela Machado of Denair and Maria 
Ansc�o Galhandro
of Delhi; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Vaz Diniz; a sister, Maria 
Mancebo; and a brother, Antonio Vaz Lopes.
Burial was in Turlock Memorial Park, 425 N. Soderquist Road, in Turlock.

Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., in Turlock handled 
arrangements.
