Dixon Mildred B 970805 p3 Mildred Burnett Dixon, 74; Former Patterson resident Mildred Burnett Dixon will be buried here today, Tuesday, after a graveside service at Patterson District Cemetery. She died last Friday at Exeter Memorial Hospital. She was 74. A native of Wiley, Texas, she lived in Patterson until 1956. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Douglas Sperry and Bill Dixon. She was a homemaker and resided in Exeter. She was a member of the Memorial Hospital Service Guild in that city, Exeter Church of God, and the Koffee Klan Bowling League. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Viewing at Hillview Funeral Chapel will precede the service from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Survivors include a son, Franklin Sperry, and two daughters, Jo Ann Dodson and Shirley Reese, all of Exeter; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a brother, E. W. Housewright of Patterson; and a sister, Katherine Stroud of Fresno. Remembrances should be sent to the American Cancer Society, 350 Alhambra Blvd., Sacramento, Calif. 95816.
