Beatrice Dobbel, 61;  Final rites will be held here today, Tuesday, for Beatrice Agnes Dobbel who died Saturday at
Doctors Medical Center in Modesto following an extended illness.  She was 61.  A native of Rupert, Idaho, who had
lived here the past six years, she was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Patterson and previously served as its secretary.
A Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member.  Burial in Patterson District
Cemetery will follow.  A rosary was recited Monday evening at Hillview Funeral Chapel.  Survivors include her husband,
John Dobbel of Patterson; a son, Nick Dobbel of Livermore; a daughter, Janet Beeler of Patterson; two grandchildren;
and two sisters, Louise Riffel of Hayward and Cecelia Stewart of Fremont.  The family requests that remembrances be
sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 423, Patterson.
