Frances Domingos Dies in Lompoc; A Mass of Christian Burial was said two weeks ago at the Old Mission Santa Ines
for Frances Domingos, 91 of Lompoc.  Mrs. Domingos, the mother of Mary Houk of Patterson. was born Oct. 31, 1897 in
the Azores Islands and moved to Lompoc in 1917, where she and her husband, Manuel, farmed in the Lompoc Valley.
She was active in Queen of Angels Church in Lompoc as well as Old Mission Santa Ines with Catholic Daughters and St.
Anthony's Society.   She was also a member of the Lompoc Grange, Quilters' Guild, and SPRSI, UPEC and SES
Portugese Association. Frances Domingos. who died Aug. 15, had five other daughters and two sons. a sister Louise
Silva of Hollister; 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.  She was proceeded in death by her husband, Manuel. and a
son, Manuel J. Domingos.
