Walter Ray Dunn Jr.

A funeral service will be Thursday, Nov. 18, for Walter Ray Dunn Jr. of Patterson, 
who died Sunday, Nov. 14, at his home.
Mr. Dunn, 62, was a native of Turlock and lived in Patterson for 40 years. He was a 
heavy equipment operator for 53 years and a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran who served 
in the Philippines.
Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife, Barbara Dunn of Patterson; son, Jason Dunn of 
Oklahoma; stepson, Donald Duvall of Arkansas; daughter, Heather Dunn of Northern 
California; sisters, Noveline Loyd of Grayson, Patsey Dunn of Patterson and Dianna 
Bruni of Las Vegas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie Dunn; and brother, 
Edward Dunn.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Family Christian 
Center, 18 S. Sixth St. Burial will follow in Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 
Highway 33. Hillview Funeral Chapel of Patterson, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., is 
handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Dunn’s name may be sent to Hospice of Emanuel 
Medical Center, P.O. Box 819005, Turlock, CA 95381-9005, or to a charity of the 
donor’s choice.
