Mary Victoria "Vicki" Durao   Aug. 9,1929 -  Sept. 9,2003
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday for homemaker Mary Victoria Durao, 74, who died Tuesday at her
home.  A native of Tipton, Mrs. Durao had lived in Crows Landing 55 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Patterson and the YLI.  She also volunteered for many years at the St Vincent DePauI Thrift Stair in Patterson.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Durao of Crows Landing; children Frank Durao of Crows Landing, Beckie
McBride and Serena Jenkins, both of Modesto; brother Nick Ormonde of Riverbank; sisters Margaret Soares of
Brentwood and Alice Rader of Modesto; and three grandchildren.  Monday?s Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, 529 I St.  A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 Las Palmas Ave.
where the visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.  Interment will be private.  Contributions in Mrs. Durao's  name may
be sent to Community Hospice, 601 McHenrv Ave., Suite C, Modesto 95350.
