Services Are Held for Walter Dutra; Newman � A Mass of Christian Burial was said Saturday morning at St.
Joachim s Catholic Church for Walter Emmett Dutra, 52, of Newman who died at his home Wednesday. A native
of Santa Maria, Calif., he owned an auto repair business in Crows Landing for many years and also drove a truck
10 years for Alves Trucking Co.  He was a lifelong resident of the West Side. He is survived by his wife, Elsie;
three daughters, Katrina Coelho of Modesto, Darin Dutra of Santa Rosa and Juliann Dutra of Newman; a brother
Clem, of Beaver Creek, Oregon; a sister, Elsie Oliveira of Newman; and three grandchildren. He was a member
of the West Side Auto Club. The Rosary was recited Friday evening in Evans-Krieger Funeral Chapel in
Newman.  Interment was in Hills Ferry Cemetery
