Edmonson Guy W 041211 p16 Guy W. Edmonson Aug. 10, 1921 � Dec. 8, 2004 Graveside services will be Tuesday in Tracy for Guy W. Edmonson, 83, who died Wednesday at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital in Tracy. Mr. Edmonson was born in Flemington, Mo., and raised in Tracy. He moved away for a time and spent 23 years living in Concord before recently returning to Tracy. He mowed lawns for many Tracy homeowners in his younger years and was known for his wealth of knowledge about lawn care. He also had a head for details and surprised people with his knowledge of trivia, according to family members. Mr. Edmonson also participated in the Special Olympics for many years. He is survived by two nephews, Gregory Smith, and his wife, Darlene, of Trabuco Canyon, and Leland Routt, and his wife, Leslie, of Tracy; two nieces, Tena McClellan of Concord, and Leanna Quistgard, and her husband, Mitch, of Corona; seven grand-nieces and nephews, Leland Guy Routt of Patterson, James Routt of Tracy, and Jacob D. McClellan, Michelle Quistgard, Danielle Quistgard, Michael Smith and Kristin Smith; and four great-grandnieces and nephews. Mr. Edmonson was preceded in death by a brother, Norris Edmonson, and two sisters, Wylla Smith and Ruth Stearns. Tuesday's service will begin at 10 a.m. at Tracy Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road, in Tracy. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., Tracy, is handling
