Barbara Ellington, 70;  Barbara Ellington, an 18-year Patterson resident, died Monday at Doctors Medical Center in
Modesto.  She was 70.  A native of Modesto, she had worked as a candy dipper at See's Candies.  She was a member of
the Patterson Garden Club.  A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery
near Gustine.  A memorial service will follow at 11:30 am. at Hillview Funeral Chapel, Patterson.  Survivors include her
husband, Marvin Ellington of Patterson; a daughter, Linda Holly of Fremont; three grandchildren; her mother, Connie
Hammon of Patterson; a brother, Edward Hammon of Patterson; and a sister, Clarece Hammon of Patterson.
