Former Resident Dies While At Chicago; Crows Landing, June 12� Monte Ellis, a resident here during his youth when
his father was a partner in the firm of Ellis & McAulay, died suddenly in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday when he suffered a
heart attack white attending a baseball game.  His wife, Margaret, was with him at the time.  The body is being brought to
Coalinga for burial. Ellis was 51 years old, and was born in Newman.  He attended Bonita School and Orestimba Union
High School before moving to the bay region.  He owned a printing business.  Besides his wife, he is survived by two
brothers, Marion and Harold, both Berkeley residents.
