Services Held For Joe Erkenbrecher; Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in Modesto for Joseph L.
Erkenbrecher, 48, who died unexpectedly from a heart attack at midnight last week Thursday while on vacation in Burns,
Oregon. at Services were held at St. Paul s Episcopal Church, and interment was at the Masonic Cemetery. Until last
Spring he and his family had lived in Westley where they farmed more then 1,000 acres.  At that time they sold out for
more than $550,000 and moved to Modesto. He and his wife, Ruby, and son, Joe Jr., were on vacation for a couple
weeks. Erkenbrecher was a native., of Los Angeles and had lived on the West Side for several years. He is survived, by
his wife and son and a brother, Byron, also of Modesto.
