Vernalis Man Dies Tuesday; Addison Eskridge of Vernalis passed away Tuesday at the San Joaquin General Hospital at
French Camp.  A native of Missouri, he was 53 years of age. He resided on the George Thoming place at Vernalis, but
has been on the West Side for the past 25 years, having operated a pool room at Crows Landing at one time. Funeral
services were held at the Davis and Evans chapel Wednesday afternoon with Rev. J. W. White officiating.  The remains
were shipped to Trenton, Missouri, for interment, where a brother resides.
