Child Dies From Rare Disease; Anda Evans, 10 month old  daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Evans, passed away Saturday
morning in Germany from a  rare condition called wirdnig Hoffman s syndrome. The rare condition, which is fatal
sometime during the first five years of the child s life was diagnosed by specialists in Philadelphia.  The condition affects
the nerves and muscular tissues and the child is born with it. Evans is stationed with the 714th tank battalion at
Schweinfurt, Germany.  Mrs. Evans is the former Barbara Riddle.
