Francisca P. Gaitan

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 20, for Francisca P. Gaitan of Patterson, 
who died Aug. 15 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Mrs. Gaitan, 72, was a native of Mexico and lived in Patterson for 35 years. She worked for Patterson 
Frozen Foods as a production line worker for 15 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Patterson.
Mrs. Gaitan is survived by her sons, Jose A. Romero and Jose F. Romero, both of Alaska; daughters, 
Maria Escamilla of Patterson and Litica Romero of Delano; brother, Asuncion Rendon of Mexicali; sisters, 
Manuela Rendon of Mexicali, Josephina Olquin of Patterson; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Thursday�s Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St., in Patterson. Burial will 
be in North Kern Cemetery in Delano at a later date.
Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., in Patterson, is handling arrangements.
