Gama Narciso R 040915 p9 Narciso R. Gama Oct. 29, 1925 � Sept. 10, 2004 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today for Narciso R. Gama, 78, who died Friday at his home in Patterson. Born in Alton, Ill., Mr. Gama lived in Tracy 11 years before moving to Patterson 31 years ago. He was a former farm worker and was retired from Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, where he worked five years as a janitor. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Patterson. Mr. Gama is survived by his wife of 55 years, Efigenia Gama; five sons, Ramon and Marcos Gama, both of Patterson, Al Gama of Riverside, George Gama of Daly City and Tony Gama of Fremont; a daughter, Rosario Gama of San Jose; three brothers, Pete Gama of Tracy, and Pedro and Tranquilino Gama, both of Mexicali, Mexico; a sister, Socorro Aboytia of Mexicali; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Narisco Gama. Today's Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 529 I St., in Patterson. Visitation was observed and a rosary was recited Tuesday at Hillview Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Patterson District Cemetery, 10800 Highway 33, in Patterson.
