Rosario S. Gama   March 9, 1954 � Dec. 28, 2005
Services will be Thursday for Rosario S. Gama, 51, of Patterson, who died Wednesday at Santa Clara County Medical
Center in San Jose. Ms. Gama was a native of Baja California, Mexico, and had lived in Patterson 40 years. She was a
social worker for Santa Clara County 10 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Patterson.  She loved Christmas,
being involved with the community, and putting together feasts for her family. She enjoyed cultural and musical events,
and she was a great pingpong player.  Ms. Gama is survived by her mother, Efigenia Gama of Patterson; and five
brothers, Ramon Gama and Marcos Gama, both of Patterson, Al Gama of Riverside, George Gama of Daly City and Tony
Gama of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her father, Narciso Gama, in 2004, and by a brother, Narciso Gama Jr.,
in 1994.   A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will follow in Patterson District Cemetery,
10800 Highway 33. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las
Palmas Ave., in Patterson, with the recital of a rosary to follow.
