Gustavo Garcia, 33;  Final rites will be held here Thursday for a 33 year old Patterson man who died suddenly last
Thursday in San Francisco.  Gustavo Garcia, a pastry chef for Ficasso Bakery in San Francisco, died at San Francisco
General Hospital.  Born in Raymondville, Texas, he had moved here 20 years ago with his family and graduated from
Patterson High School in the class of 1987.  He attended San Francisco City College and was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church.  A vigil will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the church, where a Mass is scheduled for Thursday at 10
a.m. Burial in Patterson District Cemetery will follow.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Sacred Heart.
Hillview Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.  Survivors include his parents, Benito and Eva of Patterson,
and three brothers, Noel of Patterson and Benito of Newman, and Cruz Garcia of La Monte.
