Requiem Said for Mrs. Garcia on Monday; A requiem mass was said Monday at Sacred Heart Church for Mrs. Maria
Magdalena Garcia, 74, who died May 6 in a local hospital after a short illness.  Burial was in Patterson District Cemetery.
A native of Texas, she has lived the past six months with a daughter, Mrs. Angelita Montalbo at 2706 E. Las Palmas Ave.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Caterina Tobar of Bakersfield, Mrs. Gilberta Travino of Westley,
Mrs. Clotilde Reyes of Wisconsin and Mrs. Isabel Galviz of Texas; two sons, Demetrio Garcia of Westley and Willie
Garcia of Texas, and 49 grandchildren.
