Gaspar Louise I 530219 p1 Services Held For Mrs. Gaspar, 69; Succumbed in Oakland Saturday Morning; High requiem mass was held at Sacred Heart Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock for Mrs. Louise I. Gaspar, 69, who passed away early Saturday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Mae Brown in Oakland. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery, Patterson Mrs. Gaspar had been ill for the past few years, having been treated in Oakland and Los Angeles. The Rev. John Dermody conducted rosary services Monday evening at Evans Funeral chapel and mass Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church. Surviving are her husband, Manuel of Patterson; a son, Alfred of Westley; a granddaughter, Mrs. John Nunes Jr., of Patterson; a grandson, Norman Gaspar of Westley; a sister, Mrs. Mae Brown; a brother, Joe Henas of Oakland. She was a native of Oakland. She was a member of the Third Order of St Francis UPPEC No. 23 and SPRSI No 35, all of Oakland. High mass was sung by a choir, accompanied by an organist from Stockton. Pallbearers were Alfred Brown of Mill Valley, Clarence Lemas of Oakland, John Nunes of Patterson, Henry Castro of Westley, Joe Dias of Berkeley and Fernand Silva of San Leandro.
