George Memorial in Tracy;  A memorial service was conducted this morning, Tuesday, for Ronald B. George. who died
last Thursday at his residence in Patterson.  Mr. George had been a track inspector for Bay Area Rapid Transit for 19
years.  He had resided in Patterson the last two years, corning here from Tracy where he lived for 12 years.  He was 50.
Mr. George was a native of Wheeling, West Virginia, and was a U.S. Army veteran.  He belonged to United Public
Employees, Local 790, Oakland.  He is survived by his wife, Bernice George, of Patterson; three daughters, Carole La-
Fontaine of Pleasanton, Jean George of Modesto. and Sheri  Huff of Patterson; a brother; two grandchildren, Samantha
Huff of Patterson and James La-Fontaine of Pleasanton.  Fry Memorial Chapel of Tracy was in charge of funeral
arrangements.  Interment was private.  Memorials may be directed to the Patterson Counseling Center c/o Westside Bank,
