Sam  Germolus, Wife Killed in Alaska Crash   Samuel W Germolus; Samuel Wilcox Germolus, 32, formerly of Patterson
was killed in an auto accident May 8 in Alaska, it has been learned here.  His wife Patricia Rose Germolus, also 32, died
of injuries suffered in the same accident. She was expecting their first child.  Germolus, who had served in the regular
Army nine years, had been transferred to Alaska after duty in Germany where the couple was married in 1971. The driver
of the other vehicle in the fatal crash on a major highway has been charged with driving while intoxicated and
manslaughter. Services were held May 14 at St. Rathels Church in Goleta, with interment at Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ruth Germolus Buhl of Santa Barbara; brothers Charles of Santa Barbara, Rick of San
Jose, Mike of Fresno, aud Leon of Pine Grove; and sister Teresa of Santa Barbara. He was preceded in death by his
father, Harry Germolus. His wife is survived by her mother, Mrs. Marge Skrocki, of Syracuse, New York.
