Gervasoni Mabel 990202 p5 Mabel Gervasoni, 87; Mabel Kirkpatrick Gervasoni, 87, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. A well-known restaurateur here, she operated the Del Puerto Hotel bar and restaurant during; World War II and later built and operated the Aloha Club with her husband, Charlie. Born in Northern Ireland, she came to the United States as a baby and lived in Patterson 66 years. She enjoyed the restaurant business and liked to get to know her customers especially the officers stationed at the Crows Landing Naval Air Station. After retiring 17 years ago, she liked to play bridge and go shopping. Her son Gary Gervasoni of Modesto and two grandchildren survives her. A memorial service was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto. Burial and visitation were private.
